At The Amelia Scott, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all our visitors. Our Relaxed Opening is specially designed for those who prefer a more tranquil museum experience, including autistic and neurodiverse visitors, along with their families and carers.
Explore - Discover - Create: Enhanced Activities
We're delighted to offer a variety of activities to engage and delight all the family during our Relaxed Opening. Here's what you can look forward to:
• Sensory Storytelling: We begin with a story that engages all the senses. Our storyteller uses a variety of props to help immerse you in the world of the tale.
• Activity Station: Create fun craft, inspired by our themes and Collection.
• Temporary Exhibition: Explore the temporary exhibition 'Commons' in your very own quiet session.
Please note:
- The Sensory Story is told once only at the beginning of the session and runs for approx. 20mins.
- The Temporary Exhibition will be open exclusively to participants 15.30 - 15.45
Running Time: 90 Mins
