Summer of Fun Volunteer:

Join Us for an Exciting Summer at The Amelia Scott!

Get ready for an amazing summer opportunity at The Amelia Scott! We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with gallery facilitation, object handling, supporting Discovery Days, and leading Park Safaris.

There are a variety of activities on offer but all will be linked to our exciting upcoming exhibition Brickosaurs. This fun exhibtion invites visitors to step into the world of extraordinary dinosaur brick-built models. This isn’t just an exhibition; it's a thrilling family-focused experience that brings awe-inspiring moments to life. Imagine the thrill of standing face-to-face with a colossal T-Rex, the grace of a Stegosaurus, and the majestic presence of a Triceratops—all crafted from intricate toy brick builds.

This opportunity is perfect for students and those completing their Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award. You'll gain valuable skills in event facilitation, public engagement, and team collaboration while being part of a dynamic and creative environment. Plus, it's a fantastic way to add unique experience to your resume and make the most of your summer!

Curiosity Cafe (The Amelia Scott's Version of a Dementia Cafe) Volunteer:

Join us as a Dementia Café Volunteer and help create a vital social space where individuals living with dementia and their loved ones can connect, relax, and enjoy meaningful interactions.

As a volunteer, you will play a key role in ensuring our café is welcoming and supportive.
You'll assist with serving refreshments, facilitate engaging activities, and provide companionship to attendees.
Your presence and dedication will help make the café a cherished place for socialisation and support, making a real difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.
