Sensing Culture: Group for Blind & partially sighted adults - Amelia

Partially sighted adults are invited to explore our collections through touch, sound, and imagination.

These sessions last for 2 hours and are held in The Artist Residency Studio at the Amelia Scott.

They will be run monthly on the last Friday of the month between 10:30 – 12:30.

What to expect:
•    Object Handling: Closely examine museum objects with your hands, guided by our expert staff.
•    Tactile Tours: Embark on a sensory journey through our galleries, exploring textures, shapes, and stories.
•    Creating Artwork: Opportunity to create your own artwork inspired by our collections. No experience needed!

If you are interested, please contact Wendy Daws on wendy.daws@kab.org.uk or call the Kent Association for the Blind 01622 691357.

Wendy will also be able to answer any questions you may have.
