The Amelia present Langton Green Subbuteo Club
Come along to our fortnightly Langton Green Subbuteo club in Tunbridge Wells, hosted in partnership with Kent Invicta TFC.
This welcoming and inclusive club is open to everyone—whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned player.
Join us every other Saturday 23rd Nov 10:00 – 12:00 and experience the fun and camaraderie that our new club has to offer.
Why is it called the Langton Green Subbuteo Club?
This is where the game was invited by Peter Adolph in 1946. You can find more out about the history of Subbuteo here.
Kent Invicta have a rich pedigree in youth development and will be invaluable partners for the Kent based project, that will see a new weekly development club being set up, in collaboration with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and Schools.
Terry Arnold said, “Following on from the news regarding the Langton Green Subbuteo Club, Kent Invicta are delighted to confirm our partnership with Wobbly Hobby SC on this amazing project. Together with the emphasis on development plus other exciting situations following on from the World Cup in Tunbridge Wells this will forge a strong legacy for the sport in the region after the tournament. Our active FISTF players are joining in this venture into the new season as we enter into a partnership in creating this new and exciting opportunity”.
Alan Lee said, “The partnership will see the transfer of Kent Invicta players to Langton Green Subbuteo Club, giving the club greater squad depth to play at all European Majors and GPs on the FISTF World Tour for the 2024-25 season. The Langton Green Club will also oversee the biggest youth development programme in England in recent years, ensuring the continuation of the Subbuteo legacy in Kent”
