Each session begins with a magical sensory story, gently whisking children away into a snowy tale filled with sparkle, kindness, and festive cheer, setting the scene for a joyful crafting adventure.

 

Enchanting Activities Include:

- Create a Winter Keepsake Decoration – Craft a beautiful ornament to hang on your tree or gift to someone special.

- Design a Festive Gift Bag and Tag – Add your magical touch to a gift bag and matching tag, perfect for wrapping your handmade treasures.

- Make a Pop-Up Winter Wishes Card – Get creative with a delightful pop-up card to accompany your gift.

 

Children only. Grown-ups must remain outside to keep the gifts a surprise.
 

All materials are provided and are locally and sustainably sourced.

 

Please wear clothes you don't mind getting a little snowy (and painty)!

 

There will be a RELAXED session on 14th December (14.30-15.30)

 

Our Relaxed session is specially designed for those who prefer a more tranquil museum experience, including autistic and neurodiverse visitors, along with their families and carers. Participants will benefit from smaller group sizes and our experienced staff will be on hand to support the children sensitively to engage with the session.

 

Please note, for our Relaxed session we require a parent or carer to remain in the room with the participant. The environment will be:

- Low-lit and softly decorated

- Sound levels kept low

- Smaller group sizes

- Flexible participation – children can join in as much or as little as they like.
