Book Wed 20 Nov, 2.30pm

This guide to Family and House History Research introduces researchers to different aspects of local history research.

In the first half of the workshop Amelia Scott Librarian, Stephen Wickens, will refer to records in The Amelia's collection that can be used for Family History Research. The workshop will focus on how to use Find My Past, Ancestry, and other e-resources that Kent Library card holders can access free of charge.

The second half, led by Research Curator Dr Ian Beavis, will highlight local sources related to house history, and explain how to use them, how to research your topic, and how you might like to share your research.
