Fiona Bennett co-author of the unique Poems as Friends anthology is joined by special guests, Sarah Salway and Roxy Dunn in a sumptuous hour celebrating the power of poetry in our lives. In this lively, warm, and uplifting event The Poetry Exchange will share stories and poems from the book to reveal the life-changing power of connection created in the company of poems as friends.

Fiona Bennett is a writer, director, and founder of the Poetry Exchange. She has been working in theatre and poetry for over 30 years. Her poems have featured on BBC radio and in journals and anthologies across the UK and internationally. As a curator, collaborations include work with, the National Theatre, Ballet Black and the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Sarah Salway has published six books of poetry and prose. Her work has been featured in Poetry London, The Financial Times and BBC radio among many other places. She is a tutor and mentor, a Hawthornden Fellow and a Royal Literary Fund Fellow and runs a long-standing reading group in Kent.

Roxy Dunn is a writer performer and graduate of the BBC writer's room. Her collection of poetry, Big Sexy Lunch is published by Verve Poetry Press and her debut novel, As Young As This is forthcoming from Penguin Random House.
