Simon James Green is a three-times Carnegie-nominated author of books for children and young adults. His middle-grade books include Sleepover Takeover (winner of InspiRead 2023), Life of Riley: Beginner's Luck, which was shortlisted for the Blue Peter Book Award and Finn Jones Was Here, (long listed for UKLA Book Award). He has also written two picture books - Llama Glamarama and Fabulous Frankie - both illustrated by Garry Parsons. His young adult novels include Noah Can't Even (picked by WHSmith as one of the most important LGBT books of the last 50 years); Noah Could Never; Alex in Wonderland (selected as one of the top 20 LGBT books of 2019 by Attitude); Heartbreak Boys, (an Indie Next List Pick in the US) You're the One That I Want (shortlisted for the YA Book Prize, Diverse Book Award, and winner of the Bristol Teen Book Award), Gay Club!, and Boy Like Me (longlisted for the YOTO Carnegie Medal 2024).

Charlie Kristensen is a multi award winning young campaigner as well as West End performer. He hosts a chat show #MusicalChairs with #CheerUpCharlie. He was awarded the Child of Courage Award as well as being a recipient of the prestigious Diana Award which is given to young people and is the highest accolade they can receive in this country. In 2023 the Charlie Kristensen Foundation - #cheerupcharlie gained charity status and was launched at a concert called There's No Place Like Home at the Lyric Theatre in the West End. Charlie is a full time student at the prestigious Sylvia Young School.
