The session aims to help children think about all the things that make libraries so important to their users - as well as the practicalities of how the library functions.

In this session, pupils use their enquiry skills to find out about Amelia Scott (1860-1952) - local suffragist, first female councillor for Tunbridge Wells and campaigner for the people of our local area.

In this session, pupils have the opportunity to look beyond the effects they can achieve using tubes of ready-mixed paints.

Pupils are cast as palaeontologists and set out to explore clues about what the world was like millions of years ago.

With skulls all around the room, pupils work in teams to identify whether they are looking at herbivores or carnivores and then which animals the skulls belonged to.

Kent County Council has confirmed that Adult Education classes will no longer be delivered at The Amelia Scott due to national changes to the Adult Education Budget, now the Adult Skills Fund (ASF).
