In this session, pupils use their enquiry skills to find out about Amelia Scott (1860-1952) – local suffragist, first female councillor for Tunbridge Wells and campaigner for the people of our local area.

The session works like a project pack, with two short films featuring ‘Amelia Scott’ (a presenter in character), evidence sheets for pupils to explore and the opportunity for the class to write to Amelia Scott at the Town Hall with all their questions – and to receive a personalised reply!

An optional follow-up session on site at The Amelia Scott can be booked in addition to the digital session.
