(12 – 19 year olds)

Explore new ideas, build real creative skills, and see your work on public display — all through hands-on sessions designed just for you.

You'll learn directly from industry professionals in fields like documentary making, portrait photography and clothing design - building confidence and creative skills through sessions designed to be genuinely accessible and inspiring.

  • Hands-on industry experience: You'll use professional equipment and learn real-world techniques - from the Adobe Suite for photo retouching to directing your own models.
  • Real platforms for your work: Unlike typical workshops, you'll see your work displayed in public exhibitions or documentary screenings right here at The Amelia.
  • Skill building: Beyond the arts, you'll develop leadership, critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and visual storytelling.
  • Community driven: These workshops are shaped directly by young people, so the arts and media on offer reflect what local young people actually want to learn.
