Join us for a welcoming evening of colour, creativity and conversation as we celebrate the opening of Howard Hodgkin: In a Public Garden.

Enjoy an after-hours preview, discover how Hodgkin used colour, shape and texture to capture memories and experiences, and find out more about the artist and the ideas behind the show.

Throughout the evening, you can enjoy classical music, take part in drop-in printmaking with a local artist, and purchase drinks from the bar. Whether you are new to Hodgkin’s work or already familiar with his bold, expressive style, this relaxed opening event is a chance to experience the exhibition in good company.
