Our Own Exhibition
Social IsolationA free, 12-week course where you’ll co-create and curate your own exhibition, building skills, confidence and a genuine sense of voice. You’ll be guided through every stage – from selecting objects to writing interpretation – culminating in a public exhibition here at The Amelia.

Social IsolationEach week, we explore a different object from our museum collection together, using mindful looking to slow down and really notice. A relaxed discussion follows – a gentle, reflective session built around connection, curiosity and wellbeing.

WellbeingThe Amelia runs a women-only Dungeons & Dragons session every third Saturday of the month. Open to women 18+ and completely free to join – no experience necessary, just a willingness to roll the dice.

Bereavement SupportOur Come As You Are sessions offer a gentle, supportive space for people affected by bereavement to spend time with others, take part in creative activities and connect at their own pace. With a focus on comfort, choice and community, there is no pressure to share or create – just a warm, welcoming environment where you can simply be yourself.

Silent Book Club at The Amelia Scott
Creative Health, Mental Health, Social Isolation, WellbeingSilent Book Club meet in person once a month and everyone brings their own reading.
We spend the first half-hour socializing and grabbing drinks, then we start an hour of silent reading (whatever you want), and we finish with a half-hour talking about what we read.
