Mini Maker Workshop - Hosted by Ash & Co. - Amelia

Your child, aka the Mini Maker, will take on a small wood craft project and build a wooden character or vehicle of their choice in a proper woodworking workshop. They'll use a range of hand tools and unleash their imagination with loads of fun decorations and scrap wood. All the projects are easy to make and encourage children to work independently, learning new skills along the way.

There's racing cars, trucks, superheroes, mythical creatures and more to choose from!

This workshop is most suitable for children age 5+. Children need to be accompanied by an adult. Parents will be expected to get involved and creative.

Craft month is approaching! To celebrate, this March we will be teaming up with local and regional wood artisans and experts to offer a series of talks, workshops, activities, interactives and demonstrations at The Amelia Scott. Tunbridge Wells is known for its woodwork, specifically Tunbridge ware, which inspired the production of similar wood wares all over the globe.  Even though the manufacturing of Tunbridge ware has taken a back seat, Tunbridge Wells is full of talented artisans, who produce wonderful pieces of woodwork that we will be celebrating!

Join us on the 23rd and 24th of March for a weekend packed with activities for all ages.
