Libraries, Registration and Archives

Kent Libraries are currently closed due to the national lockdown. We will update this page when events and activities can resume. In the meantime please follow us on Facebook for a range of online Story and Rhyme Times.

Library

Tunbridge Wells Library is temporarily based at The Royal Victoria Place (RVP) shopping centre while The Amelia at the Amelia Scott is being developed. Just a short walk away from the previous library building, the new temporary library can be found on Level one of RVP, opposite Fenwick.

Facilities

The library at RVP has a wide range of books, audio books, DVDs, free computers, free WiFi, study space, a host of fun events, and lots more. Find out about our full range of services here.

Don’t forget, if you can’t get to Tunbridge Wells Library, you can always visit Showfields Library or Southborough Library, just a short drive away.  There are also libraries close by at Pembury, Sherwood and Rusthall.

You can also register births and deaths at the library. These are by appointment only. Find out how to book here.

Parking

Parking is available at Royal Victoria Place multi-storey car park and Meadow Road multi-storey car park.
