Volunteers have an important part to play at the Amelia Scott, and we are committed to providing a variety of volunteering opportunities. Even during the building works, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Whatever your circumstances or the amount of time you can give, volunteering has got something for you and we would love to hear from you.
Interested in volunteering with Library services? Time2Give offers enjoyable and worthwhile volunteering opportunities across Kent libraries, as well as at the Kent History Centre and in some registration offices. There are activities for everyone, whatever your age, experience of the amount of time you are able to give. For more information call 03000 41 69 96, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also find out more on their volunteering website.
Would you like to learn new skills or develop existing passions while getting involved in research or collections care, or engagement projects such as our holiday Discovery Days? Our volunteer programme offers an insight into The Amelia’s work and a chance to get involved in a variety of tasks. We offer a range of volunteering opportunities to work with both our collections and our programming. If you are interested in any of the opportunities, email Julie Hawksworth, Visitor Services Manager.
